I love plants, like really really love plants. From planting seeds, to propagating cuttings and creating small beautiful masterpieces, I love it all.
Why small plants? Mini Plants by Cole was started because I did not have lots of space for the beautiful plants that I wanted. I would chose smaller versions of the larger plants I loved and just watched them grow. Eventually, these plants grew, but so did my surroundings. I decided to keep small planted creations in my home and eventually in my office space. As my plants grew I learned how to propogate and create even more small plants to share with family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.
When making my creations, I wanted to make sure that they were presented in beautiful vessels that were ready for display. Ever have a plant right from the nursery in its bland (but necessary) nursery pot? Well, all of my mini plants come ready to display and love. My amazing husband helps handcraft water propagation stations with his wood carving skills and I have a variety of hand painted ceramic and terra cotta pots made especially for each plant. Acrylic paint, alcohol inks, stains, resins and fabric all help to create one-of-a-kind planted creations.
